ARCHIE BATTY - SAXOPHONIST

After beginning his musical journey on the Cornet, It wasn’t long before Archie discovered his love for the Saxophone. It was through this that Archie discovered Jazz and fell in love with freedom and style of the genre, big bands being a particular favourite. 

Archie then proceeded to develop his Saxophone skills alongside the trumpet at the Leeds College of Music thought the joint classical with jazz Course. Since graduating, Archie has worked across the county as a freelance Saxophonist performing with big bands, jazz ensembles and as a soloist.
